Education AimsWe believe that education is a shared responsibility and that all aspects of a child's time at home and at school are of importance and value. At Carnaghts we value all our pupils as individuals, and respect their right to be different and to excel in different ways. The school endeavours to help each child realise their potential, within a Christian ethos.

In our school we aim to:
- Create a caring, secure and disciplined learning environment
- Provide a broad and balanced curriculum through a variety of experiences with opportunities to extend and challenge each individual child's needs.
- Promote the personal qualities of self-confidence, self-esteem and a sense of responsibility for self and others.
- Foster close relationships between home, school and the local community.
- Help all children including those who require learning support to reach their potential and have a sense of
satisfaction and success having done their best.
- Prepare children for opportunties, responsibilties and experiences of teenage and adult life.
- Develop in children an attitude to learning that is positive, evaluative and flexible, and which will enable them to engage in the learning process as it continue throughout their lifetime.
