Pyjama and Movie Day!
We had a great day wearing our pyjamas to school. We also enjoyed popcorn and ice-cream while watching a movie!
STEM Workshop
On Wednesday 12th October, Primary 4/5 took part in a renewable energy workshop led by Peter from Sentinus. In groups, the children had to design and build a structure which would support a fan and solar panel. Everyone worked with enthusiasm to produce some very successful solar powered fans! Peter was very impressed with the results and a great morning was had by all.
Primary 4 and 5 get into shape!
Primary 4 used a variety of shapes to explore tessellation.
Primary 5 enjoyed making quadrilaterals on their geoboards. They can now recognise and describe two new 4 sided shapes - rhombus and parallelogram.

Anderson Shelters
As part of our World War II topic Primary 4 and 5 made Anderson Shelters.
Movers and Groovers!
Primary 4 enjoyed programming the Beebot to give and follow sequences of commands to move to a variety of positions on a grid.
We took screenshots of what we did on the i-pad.
We love using mathsplayground.com to play games.
